Important info on bike parking.

Going to the Show by bike? Read THIS!

There will be plenty of bike parking at the show, but one place you will NOT be able to stash your bike is inside the convention hall itself.  This is for reasons of both safety and security.

Please understand this: no attendee bikes will be allowed inside the convention center or expo hall - with absolutely no exceptions. The only bikes allowed in the Convention Center will be those placed on display by the Exhibitors.

You can download THIS PLAN of the Convention Center with the secure bike parking area clearly defined.

The Big Picture

Imperfection is Perfection - A Film About Richard Sachs and his Bicycles

atmoFor nine months in 2007, frame builder Richard Sachs invited film maker Des Horsfield to accompany him through all aspects of his working routine.

Horsfield's film takes an intimate look into the life and mind of the bicycle frame builder as Richard Sachs talks about why he does what he does, exactly as he does it.

The story reveals his reasons for entering the frame building trade, how and why he works only with steel, and why the entities of Sport and Bicycle have remained inseparable to him.

This thirty minute film was edited from over sixty hours of filming Richard at work, at home, and at the races. This is a special version prepared only for NAHBS, and it will be screened as part of the show's seminar series.

NOT to be missed.

* The film screens Saturday, 1130-1215;  Room B 119

NAHBS - The Main Event!

This is good for the whole cycling industry, because as in Formula One car racing, some of the cutting-edge ideas on the industry's top shelf seep down into the mass market models over the years.
